

He founded and established Back to the Bible Holiness Church (BTTB(in 1959
with house-to-house prayer meetings. As prayer meetings and followers grew,
he sought a building and the first BTTB church building was a small frame
building adjacent to the railroad tracks on Tower Road

Bishop John Cooper received salvation at the age of 21 at Pittsburgh Temple
Church of God in Christ. After being appointed a Deacon, he began to preach the
Word of God and began a tent ministry in "Plunkett Town" in Hapeville, GA. In
1972, he moved into the Valleyview Church of God in Christ which is where
Pastor Wright received salvation and was a member for many years.

He was the founder of The Tabernacle Of Prayer For All People in Jamaica, New
York. Starting from humble beginnings, preaching his first sermon at The St.
Mary Church in Brooklyn, he went on to form his first church at a building in the
Red Hook section of the city. After a few years Apostle Washington began a
tent ministry and traveled with the gospel fent starting again in Brooklyn on the
corner of Eastern Parkway and Hopkins Avenue.

He was saved at Valleyview COGIC and shortly after received the Baptism of
the Holy Ghost. After salvation, God called him to become a minister and he
began to evangelize the streets of decatur and on the radio. Upon leaving
Valleyview, he joined Back To The Bible Miracle Revival Fellowship Church
under the Pastorate of Apostle Raymond Moss. While at Back To The Bible, he
was ordained by Bishop Moss and assigned to Pastor Back To The Bible in
Buford.
